ShopFlo
Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-26
What ShopFlo is
ShopFlo is a software-as-a-service platform built for automotive specialty shops — car audio, window tint, paint protection film, and vehicle wraps. ShopFlo is multi-tenant: every shop is an isolated account. ShopFlo is operated by TODD from Canada. These Terms govern your access to and use of ShopFlo.
Account requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete account information and keep it up to date.
- One ShopFlo account per shop owner. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your credentials and for the credentials you issue to your team.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ShopFlo for fraud, deception, or illegal activity.
- Send unsolicited bulk SMS or email, or otherwise misuse the messaging integrations to spam.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the service beyond the official APIs and exports we provide.
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or other shops’ use of the service.
Subscription and billing
ShopFlo is offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
Your data
Your shop owns the data it creates and uploads to ShopFlo (customers, vehicles, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, photos, SMS threads, inventory, and so on). You grant ShopFlo a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that data solely to operate the service for your shop and to perform the integrations you authorize.
You can export your data at any time using the export tools built into ShopFlo, and you can request deletion of your account’s data by contacting us.
Customer data responsibility
Shops are responsible for ensuring they have a valid legal basis (consent, contract, or other lawful basis) to upload customer data to ShopFlo and to contact customers via SMS, email, or other channels. This includes complying with applicable anti-spam, telemarketing, and privacy laws (e.g. CASL in Canada, TCPA in the United States, GDPR/UK GDPR where applicable).
Third-party integrations
ShopFlo offers optional integrations with third-party services, including QuickBooks Online (Intuit), Shopify, Stripe, Twilio, Resend, and others. When a shop connects a third-party service, that shop is also bound by the third party’s terms of service and privacy policy. ShopFlo is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party services, and connecting them is at the shop’s discretion. A shop can disconnect any integration at any time from Settings.
SMS compliance
Shops are the sender of record for all SMS messages they send through ShopFlo. Shops must respect opt-outs and unsubscribe requests. ShopFlo automatically honors STOP keyword handling on inbound messages, but the shop remains responsible for ensuring recipients have consented to receive messages and for complying with carrier and regulatory rules.
Service availability
ShopFlo is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not currently offer a contractual service-level agreement (SLA). We may schedule maintenance windows, and we may experience outages outside our control. We will work to restore service as quickly as reasonably possible.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
ShopFlo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopFlo and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, and ShopFlo’s aggregate liability for any direct damages is capped at the total fees you paid to ShopFlo in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination, access to the service ends, and we will retain or delete data in accordance with the retention schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising under these Terms is the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to account owners or via an in-product notice. Continued use of ShopFlo after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
